2. Narrate your journey for each of these so that we can see how your research and planning link with your final products.

LAURA MULVEY THEORY

Laura is mainly known for her male gaze theory which tackles the representation of women in media including music videos. its to entice the male audience and keep them active.

for feminists it can be though of in 3 ways:

• how men look at women
• how look at themselves
• how women look at other women

The Male gaze theory suggest that to the audience, women are portrayed as the objects, the way they're viewed towards a heterosexual mans mindset is appealing.

the camera work plays a big part in targeting the male audience by having close ups of the curves on a female body part to entertain them.

The female audience feel as though the representation of females in music videos is downgrading the way the society views females and feel its wrong for them to be treated in manor that objectifies the female.
