Analysis of Digi-pack advert

in this advert, the colour scheme of a faded out colours used on the digi pack.. The pastel colours used creat on the post creates an effects which helps relate the polaroid images to the poster.. The same colour pallets purple, blue and white is used on both the poster and digi pack to show a link between the two products. the main image is a long shot of the artist siting on a cream/white chair covers the "I" on her name this is to shows possession and indicates to new fans that the main "Taylor Swift"
the use of synergy in the poster is very clear as the CD cover feature in the poster along with the side of the half CD hanging from the side.

Equipment list
Technical Use:
-Digital Video Cameras: we used two digital cameras during the production of our music video to help us grasp the scenes from different angles, it also gave us the option to compare both angles by having different perspectives on what happening in the scene.-Tripods: We are going to use a tripod to make our footage look more professional rather than having unnecessary shaky shots.
-Apple Mac: we will be using final cut pro and Photoshop to edit our products which easier to use on a mac.
-Mobile Phones: some of our footage is filmed on a phone to give a contemporary effect on a music video. we will also use it to play the song whilst recording the footage to see the duration of the footage.
Prop Use:
-Make up: make up such as foundation and mascara will be used on our female characters to fit the roll of youths. it also helps define their features and makes the female characters feel comfortable.
-Pills: the pills is going to be used in our music video to fit with our narrative that the main female character dies.
-Ring: we will take various shots of the females ring to create a dramatic effect on the audience to represent the the breakup of the relationship.

INTERTEXTUALITY IN MUSIC VIDEOS
Intertextuality is the link between two different media texts, in a music video this could mean referencing another text in the lyric or having the artist in the music wear a costume or make-up that clearly can be identified with another text.
A popular music video where intertextuality is clearly used in a music video similar to a parody is drakes "energy" where is seems as the the artist appears to be making fun of other celebrities where the fans can easily identify who or what is being referenced. In the energy music video, drake uses his facial features and merges them with the celebrity and recreates an iconic moment or set in a recognisable setting.

this music video can be be appealing to the audience because it can be amusing as the meaning behind this music video isn't clear. in this case the lyrics really contradicts what appears to be a light hearted music video, "i got enemies got a lot of enemies".
using intertextuality in our music video would be an effective form of promoting our music video to our target audience. in order to simplify our music video for our target audience, we will not be using intertextuality.
